‎Activities by political groups in the northern region have been found to be nonconstructive and possibly illegal, said the Royal Thai Army.

According to Colonel Winthai Suwari, the Deputy Army Spokesperson, the Army Commander-in-Chief has instructed the 3rd Army to take legal action against people who behave illegally during political activities.

Those who are engaged in political activities have been urged to exercise caution to ensure that they do not break the law. Although political expression is a right under the Thai constitution, but expressing the desire to secede from the nation is outside the boundaries of the constitution.

Colonel Winthai added that seditious speeches delivered by Wutthipong “Ko Tee” Kotchathammakhun are being examined by authorities.

My challenge to the authority is why don’t the army investigate Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban’s neo-fascist group: People’s Democratic Reform Committee?

PDRC has broken the Rule of Law. Their leaders have spoken against the Constitution…

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – The Loveland ski area has just surpassed 300 inches of snow for the season.

With snow continuing to pile up in ski areas many are putting this winter in their top 10.

Even out of state skiers like Brendan Shanahan are getting a piece of the action.

“It’s my first day sampling the American goods,” said Shanahan who is here visiting from New Zealand.

“It’s a little tracked but you can explore, through the trees it’s pretty good. This snow, mountains, its awesome same friendly people it’s good times.

Despite the great snow the ski area has yet to reach its record snowfall amount this season.

“We’re sitting at 319 inches of snow and conditions are as good as they’ve been ever at Loveland ski area,” said John Sellers from the Loveland Ski Area.

(CNN) — Here we go again.

On the heels of a January and February filled with vicious, snarling storms, the first March wave of arctic air pushing eastward has prompted National Weather Service warnings, watches, and advisories for more than 90 million people.

Snow is threatening to add to the already record-high accumulations in cities across the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast. The winter-weary Washington area is awaiting a dangerous tenth of an inch of ice, topped by 8 to 12 inches of snow.

The precipitation means more misery for travelers, and the airlines that carry them. As of 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday, flightaware.com reported close to 1,800 canceled flights and some 4,400 flight delays within, into or out of the United States. Inclement weather around the Dallas Fort Worth airport was causing the greatest inconveniences.

This storm is a coast-to-coast event. It started as a low pressure system dumping rain…

Jennifer Lawrence’s clumsiness is at it again.

The “American Hustle” star, who is nominated for an Academy Award for the role, tripped and fell on the red carpet, and videos of the stumble hit the Internet in record time.

Lawrence took a similar — yet much more public — tumble at last year’s Oscar show, when she was walking up the stairs to the stage to accept her Oscar for “Silver Linings Playbook.” She prepared a little better this year, but apparently not enough.

“This year I actually did a stair test,” she laughed on the red carpet to ABC’s Oscar pre-show.

The thesp is up against Lupita Nyong’o, Sally Hawkins, Julia Roberts and June Squibb in the supporting actress category.

(CNN) — As celebrities walk down the Oscar red carpet Sunday in front of the Dolby Theatre just ahead of the 86th Academy Awards, they may want to ponder time, space and con artistry.

The best picture front-runners express aspects of all three. “12 Years a Slave” is a searing look at a tragic era in America’s past, about a free man taken into Deep South slavery in the 1840s. “Gravity” is set in outer space, where an astronaut comes to terms with herself.

And the third favorite, “American Hustle,” is a loose, laugh-filled look at a pair of shifty professionals and their involvement with a political scandal.

“Hustle” and “Gravity” led all films with 10 nominations each, and “12 Years” received nine.

Other films up for best picture are “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Captain Phillips,” “Philomena,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Her” and “Nebraska.”

But there are…
